James Rizzi Inspired Art  added 29.11.24

Rang 5 created James Rizzi inspired cityscapes as a follow on from looking at lines and angles in maths. Beautiful work!

A big thank you to all the parents and pupils who made our "Walk & Stride" event such a huge success. Over 112 pupils either did "Walk & Stride", walked to school or travelled by bus. A fantastic achievement which will help our Green Schools Committee work towards attaining a Travel Green Flag for our school. here are some pictures of the day.

A very big thank you for your generosity to our fundraising day for Down Syndrome Tipperary. After some late contributions we raised an incredible €515.

Welcome to the Restaurant at Ardcroney NS added 23.10.24

During October, junior infants learned all about the Restaurant. In the role play area they took it in turns to be the chef, the waiter, the waitress and the customer. The teddy bears had a very enjoyable birthday party at the restaurant!

The construction workers built their own restaurants. At small world the dolls house was turned into a restaurant and at playdough the children made cakes, pizza, cupcakes and lots more!!

A very proud day for Ardcroney NS. Past pupil and All Ireland Minor Hurling medallist, Billy O'Brien brought the Irish Press Cup and the John Doyle Cup to visit us. Huge congratulations to Billy and the Tipperary Minor Hurling team and management.

Congratulations and well done to our 3rd, 4th and 5th class pupils who each won prizes at Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival Primary Schools Poetry Competition recently.


Rang 5 Kaleidoscope Science Project  added 29.09.24

Rang 5 designed and made kaleidoscopes as part of their science lessons. Students have been focusing on the topic of light and completing activities to show how light can be reflected and refracted.

Miss Kirby's 2nd & 3rd classes took their inspiration from artist Sinéad Fahey and created their own fabulous artwork. Sinéad is teh featured artist for this year's Dromineer Literary Festival and her exhibition is a the Country Choice in Nenagh.
